- IF YOU ARE A CASH BUYER, YOU WILL NEED A PROOF OF FUNDS LETTER. THIS IS NEEDED TO SCHEDULE SHOWINGS AND PUT IN OFFERS. THE LISTING AGENTS/SELLERS ARE REQUIRING THESE TO CONFIRM TO THEIR SELLER THAT YOU ARE QUALIFIED. IT'S A VERY SIMPLE DOCUMENT ON YOUR BANK'S LETTERHEAD. YOUR LENDER SHOULD BE ABLE TO PROVIDE THIS WITH EASE. IT WILL SHOW THAT YOU HAVE THE AMOUNT OF THE PURCHASE PRICE IN YOUR ACCOUNT.
